Please note we have a Health & Safety Risk Management Plan which you are encouraged to read.

I hereby agree to abide by the following conditions:

Training fees must be paid on time and in accordance with the terms of fee payment below. In addition I understand that I am required to pay national governing organisation annual registration and re-registration fees.

The instructors at Xtreme Martial Arts Academy have the right to withhold tuition from me if I disturb the class in any way and/or if they believe certain exercises are unsafe for me to perform and/or they have reason to believe I am negatively impacting another member(s) or members of staff and/or I misuse the skills taught to me and/or my fees are not paid on time. If deemed sufficiently serious Xtreme Martial Arts Academy reserves the right to terminate my membership without notice or explanation.  I hold myself responsible for any injury that I may sustain in the course of my training.

FEES – Membership Fee Structure
Training fees are based on a termly membership, i.e. they are calculated across the school term, with payments made each school term. We are closed during each school holidays and over the school summer holiday period.

Memberships are not transferable and membership fees are subject to change each year. Xtreme Martial Arts Academy reserves the right to change its fee structures for all members in the future however any changes would be made with notice. Family discounts apply for the duration that the other family members are training and single rates apply if family members stop training.

FEES ON HOLD
As outlined above, the training fees at Xtreme Martial Arts Academy are based on a termly membership, with payments made each school term. For this reason we do not allow fees to be put on hold for travel / holidays / other commitments. Should you wish to take an extended break for these reasons, we can terminate your account and you are most welcome to come back when the time is right to resume training. In extenuating circumstances such as bereavement / Illness / injury / loss of job please contact us in writing – fees may be placed on-hold with each situation will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

Termly memberships are paid each school term, and can be paid via bank transfer or cash. All fees paid in advance via any method are non-refundable.

MEMBERSHIP TERMINATION
If you wish to terminate one or all of your memberships at Xtreme Martial Arts Academy you can do so any time by giving 30 days written notice (via email). There are no cancellation fees, however all outstanding fees will be paid upon my departure. If you return to Xtreme Martial Arts Academy you will be subject to the fee structures in effect at the time of rejoining.

USE OF PICTURE / LIKENESS
I/we grant the School irrevocable permission to use photographs, audio recordings, videotapes, artwork or other likenesses of me/us for marketing, promotional, trade, demonstration, publishing or any other lawful purpose without remuneration.

PRIVACY

All personal information collected from your use of the website is held in accordance with the requirements of the New Zealand Privacy Act 1993 and the GDPR.

Personal Information

The only personal information we collect about you is what you complete when signing up as a Member (Name, email etc). There is no other personal information about you collected or stored by Xtreme Martial Arts Academy Ltd.

We will not use any information collected about you from your use of the website referred to above unless you have actively agreed to it being used in a specific manner. We will not contact you to discuss a product or service unless you have expressly requested that contact. Xtreme Martial Arts Academy takes care to ensure that it adheres to the provisions of the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 and will only collect and use information from you on this website in accordance with the Act and the Privacy Act 1993.

We will not under any circumstances release, sell, publish, or give away personal information to any other person or organisation unless required by law or subject to the consent of the information supplier. Information obtained from website users may be collated and used for statistical purposes, but will not identify the user in any way.

We will not collect from you any sensitive information relating to the prohibited grounds of discrimination set out in the Human Rights 1993 (namely, sex, marital status, religious or ethical belief, colour, race, ethnic or national origins, disability, age, political opinion, employment or family status, sexual orientation), other than with your express consent or where collection is either authorised by law or is reasonably necessary to enforce the law or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

Our website may contain links to third party websites that are not operated or controlled by us. Please note that Xtreme Martial Arts Academy is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of those third party websites and the sites are not covered by this Privacy Policy. Third party websites should have their own privacy and security policies and we encourage you to read them.

Changes to our Policy

We may, at our discretion, update or revise this Policy from time to time. Any changes will take effect immediately once they are posted here, so we encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on privacy practices at Xtreme Martial Arts Academy and its divisions.
